Analysis of the poem

Stanza-1– The comrades of a stand young warrior brought his dead the body from the battlefield to his a wife at home. Seeing the dead very body of her husband, she neither fainted nor wept aloud. Her maidens felt that unless she Ian-wept, she would die from grief.
The teacher asks- 1. What did the lady do?
2. Why did the maidens think that she must weep or she will die?
Stanza-II- Then the girls attendance praised the dead warrior in gentle words. They called him a young warrior who had endeared himself to all by his lovable qualities. He was most loyal to his friends and noble even to his enemies. Even then the lady was not moved to tears. She did not utter a word. The teacher asks 3. Who was brought home? 4. How did the maidens try to make the lady weep?
Stanza-III– One of the girl attendance silently rose from her seat and wept up quietly to the dead body of the warrior. She moved the piece of cloth which covered the face of the dead warrior.But yet she did not weep. The teacher asks- 5. Why did the maiden remove the face cloth from the face of the dead warrior?
Stanza-IV-An old nurse aged ninety years rose from her seat. She placed the child of the dead warrior upon the knees of the lady, its mother. At once,her tears flowed profusely like rains in a storm of the summer season. The teacher asks 6.How old was the nurse? | Pupils listen attentively and try to answer the questions.
